COE is looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our team for the busy holiday season!

We're looking for an awesome human who is self-driven and excels in customer service. A team player with a passion for local businesses and artists! COE is a concept shop mixing retail and coffee, so we're looking for a team member who is organized, resourceful, and has the ability to multitask. Retail experience is a must as we're entering the busiest season of the year. 

Requirements:
- Weekend availability
- Holiday availability
- Flexibility for mid-week shifts
- At least one year of retail and/or barista experience, familiarity with Shopify is a plus!
- Proficient in technology: basic computer skills, Google sheets & docs
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds (shipments, trash disposal, etc.)
- Can maintain shop cleanliness and organization

Hours:
8-16 hours a week 

Responsibilities: 
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
- Ring up retail customers with product purchases.
- Make coffee and tea drinks (barista training can be provided)
- Clean and maintain impeccable store cleanliness and organization throughout each shift.
- Process online orders throughout the sales floor hours.
- Open and close the shop following set operational procedures.
- Receive shipments & process inventory.
- Become an expert on our vendors and products to educate customers on our offerings.
- Support before or after-hours shop events as requested.
- Support the shop product assortment by communicating customer demand and product need.

Training for this position will begin in October. This is a seasonal holiday position with the potential to extend into 2025 depending on performance.
