MOLLY ANNE BISHOP X 1-800-CAKES X HOMEBODY
APRIL 19TH | 11AM-3PM
This is going to be a party! Functional art by Molly Anne Bishop, floral bakes and cakes by 1-800-CAKES, and a delicious menu of matcha drinks by homebody. This is the perfect time to grab some Easter desserts and enjoy some springtime sips and ceramics.
Molly Anne Bishop will be bringing mugs, plates, and platters intended to inject a little joy into the mundanity of every day life, all inspired by pop culture, nature, and art history.
Katie & Calvin started homebody in their apartment, sharing hand-whisked matcha with friends who quickly became family. What began as a love for the artistry behind matcha grew into a space to bring people together. Every cup is still hand-whisked, every flavor hand-crafted, and every detail is made with intention.
Maura Ford, the baker behind 1-800-CAKES, believes that any occasion calls for cake. Or no occasion at all. After a short stint of training at Ballymaloe Cookery School in Southern Ireland and some time working as a pastry cook at Chicago’s Allez Cafe, she became quite cake-curious and started this project in early 2024. As a team of one, every slice from 1-800-CAKES is made with care by Maura.
